Before beginning his padayatra, YSRCP chief Jagan Mohan Reddy visited Tirumala to seek blessings of Lord Venkateshwara Swamy. And now, his visit to the holy place is becoming a controversy as the Christian organizations and pastors are condemning his ‘stone-worshipping’.

In a social media video, a Tirupathi based pastor David Karunakaran warned the opposition leader for worshipping ‘stone god’ despite being a Christian. The social media post is not going viral wherein he also said that ‘God will definitely show his aggression if he (Jagan) fail to figure out the mistake he has done. Only when Jagan Reddy stops the stone-worshipping, he’ll become the Chief Minister for the state of Andhra Pradesh.’

In the video, the pastor also attributed the death of YS Rajasekhar Reddy to the stone worshipping. However, while clarifying the same to a TV channel, he said – ‘he may’ve died because of that and I didn’t precisely tell that he passed away only because of stone worshipping’ and added ‘I made such comments only for Christians.’

On other hand, few other pastors started offering prayers to god to stop Jagan from stone worshipping.
